Cornerstone Counseling NOVA is a growing, faith-based counseling practice in Northern Virginia committed to offering professional, compassionate, and empirically informed care to individuals, couples, and families.

We are currently seeking 2–3 fully credentialed Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) who not only desire to provide excellent clinical care, but who also feel called to help mentor and support our exceptional team of Residents and Interns.

This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy combining clinical work, consultation, leadership, and community impact in a supportive and collaborative practice environment.

In addition to maintaining a clinical caseload, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of newer clinicians through:

• Informal mentoring and clinical consultation with Residents and Interns
• Support for case conceptualization and professional growth
• Potential opportunities for supervision support (for approved supervisors)
• Participation in a learning-oriented, collaborative team culture

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality individual, couples, marriage, and/or family counseling services
• Maintain timely and ethical clinical documentation
• Participate in case consultation, team meetings, and professional development
• Offer mentorship and encouragement to Residents and Interns as appropriate
• Support community outreach efforts, workshops, and relationship-building with referral partners
• Serve clients with cultural humility, professionalism, and faith-sensitive care

Schedule Expectations

• In-person sessions at our Centreville, VA office
• Daytime availability preferred
• Some evening availability to support client access
• Part-time and full-time applicants welcome

Qualifications

• Active Virginia LPC license (required)
• Supervisory credential or interest in supervision/mentoring (preferred)
• Experience working with children and adolescents, couples, or families preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Comfortable integrating faith-based care when appropriate and client-led
• Commitment to ethical and client-centered practice
