Residential Fundraising Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Residential Fundraising Assistant to support our fundraising campaigns through door-to-door outreach. In this role, you will engage with community members at their homes to share information about our organization, build relationships, and encourage charitable support. The ideal candidate is confident, persuasive, and passionate about making a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door outreach in assigned residential areas
• Communicate the mission, goals, and programs of the organization clearly and professionally
• Encourage donations, pledges, or sign-ups from community members
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and donor responses
• Represent the organization in a positive and respectful manner at all times
• Attend training sessions and team meetings as required
• Follow all safety guidelines and compliance procedures during fieldwork

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable speaking with new people in a residential setting
• Positive attitude and ability to handle rejection professionally
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous fundraising, sales, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to walk for extended periods and work outdoors in varying conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in canvassing, fundraising, sales, or community outreach
• Familiarity with nonprofit organizations or advocacy work
• Bilingual abilities (depending on location needs)
