Help shape a growing clinical program.The Autism Center of Excellence is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct autism spectrum disorder (ASD) evaluations for pediatric clients in our Richmond, VA clinic.This is a full-time, salaried position offering a competitive base salary and the opportunity to focus on high-quality diagnostic work within a structured, supportive clinical environment.This role is ideal for a psychologist who prefers evaluation-focused work, values clinical autonomy, and wants to be part of a growing program with strong demand for services.Our Richmond location is an expanding clinic with increasing referral volume, a newly renovated space, and a growing need for diagnostic services.Compensation:$130,000 – $150,000 annual salaryResponsibilities:Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in pediatric populationsComplete clinical interviews with parents/caregivers and gather developmental historyAdminister and score standardized assessment tools, including ADOS-2 and other appropriate measuresObserve and assess social communication, behavior, and developmental functioningIntegrate clinical findings and determine diagnoses based on DSM-5 criteriaPrepare clear, thorough, and timely written evaluation reportsProvide feedback sessions to families, including diagnosis and recommendationsCollaborate with clinical and interdisciplinary team members as neededMaintain compliance with ethical, legal, and HIPAA standardsRequirementsActive Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) in the state of Virginia requiredExperience conducting diagnostic evaluations for autism spectrum disorder in children requiredExperience with ADOS-2 or similar standardized diagnostic tools preferredStrong clinical judgment and diagnostic skillsAbility to communicate findings clearly and compassionately to familiesStrong documentation and report writing skillsEducational Qualifications:Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology or a related field requiredRequired Skills:Psychological assessmentDiagnostic evaluationAutism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnosisADOS-2 administration (or similar tools)Clinical interviewingDiagnostic formulation (DSM-5)Report writingCommunication with familiesClinical judgmentEthical decision-makingBenefitsCompetitive full-time salary ($130,000 – $150,000 annually)Supportive clinical leadershipAdministrative and operational support (Office Manager, Intake, Billing)Evaluation-focused role (no therapy caseload required)Consistent referral volume for diagnostic servicesOpportunity to contribute to a growing clinic and expanding services(Employees working 30+ hours per week consistently are considered full-time)Medical, dental, and vision insuranceCompany-paid life insurance401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid holidaysCEU and professional development support
