Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Licensed Professional Counselor role based in Anchorage, AK. The Licensed Professional Counselor will provide compassionate and effective mental health support to clients through individual counseling, group therapy sessions, and crisis intervention as needed. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, and monitoring client progress. The counselor will also work collaboratively with other healthcare providers at the center to deliver a holistic approach to care and contribute to fostering an empathetic and supportive environment for both clients and colleagues.

Qualifications
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Alaska
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to individual client needs
  • Skilled at providing individual counseling and facilitating group therapy sessions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in crisis intervention and providing support for individuals experiencing acute mental health challenges
  • Commitment to client confidentiality and ethical practice
  • Familiarity with holistic and integrative approaches to mental health care is a plus
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
