Outpatient Psychiatrist

MedStar Health, the largest non-profit health system in Maryland and the Washington, DC region, is expanding our Behavioral Health Network and seeking a full-time Academic Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.

Located in the heart of Washington, DC, MedStar Washington Hospital Center is a premier academic and clinical institution known for excellence in trauma, cardiac, vascular, and burn care. Our Department of Psychiatry is growing and offers a collaborative, mission-driven environment with strong academic involvement.

Position Highlights

• Provide high-quality psychiatric care as an attending physician in our outpatient and partial hospitalization programs
• Work with a diverse and clinically complex patient population
• Supervise and teach Georgetown University residents and medical students
• Hold a faculty appointment with Georgetown University School of Medicine
• Contribute to a strong culture of teaching, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration
  
  

• Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry
• Demonstrated interest or experience in teaching and academic medicine
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to team-based care
