Case Manager/Certified SUD Counselor

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time Case Manager to join our residential treatment center in Dana Point, California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing counseling and case management services to clients struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders, ensuring that they receive the highest quality of care and support throughout their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions focused on substance use recovery, relapse prevention, and life skills development.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their needs, strengths, and areas requiring support.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members.
• Coordinate and monitor services, including medical, psychological, social, and housing needs, to ensure continuity of care.
• Advocate for clients within the community, helping them access necessary referral resources and services.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, documentation, and reports in KIPU EMR in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with family members and other support systems to involve them in the treatment process.
• Participate in regular treatment team meetings and ongoing training to stay informed about best practices and collaborate with colleagues on treatment approaches.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active CADC, SUDCC or equivalent certification or licensure. (Persons with RADT/SUDRC only are kindly asked to NOT apply for this position).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance use disorder treatment, preferably in a residential setting.
• KIPU experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
