Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner located in Brooklyn, NY. The practitioner will provide psychiatric evaluations, develop individualized care plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions for patients. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians, monitoring patient progress, maintaining detailed clinical records, and ensuring the highest standards of mental health care. The role may primarily involve working within nursing homes to address the unique needs of residents.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mental Health Nursing and Psychiatric Care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and teams
- Current and valid license to practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York
- Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs and deliver patient-centered care
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric or Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
