Counselor

We are hiring a full-time Mental Health Counselor.

We provide professional counseling services to the Wexford County area in a safe, private, and supportive environment.

We offer our employees the flexibility and independence of a private practice. With telehealth and in-office visits available our employees can schedule clients on days and times that work for them.

We offer flexible employment with a professional atmosphere.

Starting pay is determined based on experience. Having and maintaining additional relevant certifications such as a CAADC or EMDR or IFS or CCS, increases starting base pay rate.

We offer assistance obtaining specialized training and CE credits.

Our counseling staff has the Right of Refusal for their case load.

Supervision is included for Limited License individuals.

Requirements, Must Have:

• Masters degree
• LPC, LLPC, or MSW

Requirements, After Initial Training and Orientation Must Be Able To:

• Work with little to no supervision on a daily basis. Support and supervision is available.
• Use company provided apps to communicate with clients in a HIPPA compliant manner.
• Complete documentation required for insurance billing in a timely manner, such as intake and progress notes.
• Maintain accurate schedule on the company provided program.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients for counseling sessions.
• Communicate with clients about scheduling.
• Maintain punctuality by arriving on time to scheduled sessions.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide behavioral therapy and counseling services, including crisis intervention and motivational interviewing.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
