Primary Purpose: Provides effective counseling services to outpatient clients in accordance with OASAS and Agency rules and regulations. Conducts screenings and assessments of clients. Collaborates with others in treatment planning, service coordination and clinical evaluation. Reviews all clinic documentation and case records according to agency policy and regulatory requirements.Responsibilities:Provides clinical counseling services to clients in recovery utilizing treatment knowledge, understanding of addiction, and application of addiction counselor knowledge to practical treatment of clients.Promotes the ACCA's services and obtains referrals.Writes effective treatment plans.Provides individual and group counseling as scheduled.Maintains a caseload of up to 35 clients.Maintains accurate and timely documentation in case records according to agency policy and regulatory requirements.Assists in providing a safe and respectful environment for treatment.Attends and participates in all assigned meetings and committees.Other responsibilities/tasks as assigned by the Clinical Director.License Requirements: One of the following: CASAC-T, CASAC-P, CASAC, CASAC Level 2, Advanced CASAC, Master CASACThis full-time position will be at our Outpatient Clinic, located at 1044 Broadway, Albany, NY.Hours for this position are Monday, Thursday and Friday 8:30am-4:30pm; Tuesday & Wednesday 11am-7pm
