Job Title: Part-Time Bilingual Counselor (Spanish-Speaking Required)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled bilingual counselor to provide short-term, goal-oriented support to a migrant and transient population. This role focuses on addressing mental health and substance use challenges through culturally responsive care.
Responsibilities
- Provide brief, solution-focused counseling.
- Assess and address mental health and substance use concerns.
- Develop individualized, short-term treatment goals with clients.
- Conduct intake assessments to understand clients’ needs, histories, and goals using standardized diagnostic tools and medical terminology.
- Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clients’ diagnoses.
- Collaborate with clinic team and industry partners to best meet the needs of the clients.
Qualifications
- Bilingual - Fluent Spanish speaking
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field; licensure or certification preferred.
- Relevant certification, licensure, or working toward licensure preferred
- Proven experience in mental health counseling within outpatient or inpatient settings
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health assessments and diagnostic evaluation
- Familiarity with working with migrant, transient, or underserved populations preferred
- Experience with crisis management techniques and behavior management strategies for diverse populations
Schedule:
- Part-time: 4–6 hours per week
- Flexible schedule Monday - Friday
