Overview: Use creative processes and psychological theory to improve clients' mental health and well-being.
Evaluate clients' emotional state and cognitive functions through artistic expression and interviews.
Develop a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan and goals for the client using painting, drawing, sculpting, or drawing.
Interpret non-verbal communication expressed through artwork.
Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team, as appropriate, to
develop treatment goals for the client.
Participate in multidisciplinary client care conferences discussing information gathered
from client assessments and treatment plans.
Complete all clinical documentation within 24 hours of services provided.
Provide groups in schools and communities.
Participate in clinical supervision, RH team meetings, and SJJC agency meetings.
Provide hybrid services as needed (in person/virtual).
Maintain licensure (if applicable).
Schedule: Up to 30 hours per month
Education: Master's degree in Art Therapy
Licensure: Preferred but not required.
Pay: $75.00 per hour
