Hospice Intake Coordinator

We are actively looking for an office intake coordinator in our Richardson office to join our team and provide assistance with the daily processing of referrals for hospice services, clerical functions, and support to the office. This professional will enjoy being part of a team of professionals who actively mentor, teach, and work together to provide the utmost quality care to patients in their residences.

Job Summary: Clerical/intake coordinator.

  • The Intake Coordinator is responsible for answering incoming calls from providers and patients while ensuring high customer service and maximizing productivity.
  • Document referrals from referral sources, enter referral information and follow up with referral sources.
  • Check patients' insurance/payers' souces and authorizations
  • Assist in daily administrative functions (filing, faxing, documentation, computer data entry
  • Constantly meets established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards
  • Other functions as directed by management

Job Qualifications/Requirements

  • Hospice experience is preferred but not required or have worked in a healthcare setting
  • Experience with Consolo is preferred but not required. Training will be given to selected candidate
  • Highly developed organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written, bilingual is a plus
  • Authorization to work in the United State

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
