Duties
- Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine client needs and treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing modalities such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during acute episodes.
- Facilitate behavioral management and social work services tailored to clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, grief issues, addiction concerns, and chronic pain conditions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medical records using appropriate medical terminology and CPT coding.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts for inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring coordinated patient care.
- Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to deliver remote mental health services while adhering to confidentiality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in clinical counseling or mental health services within outpatient or inpatient environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care for PTSD.
- Hands-on experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities including autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities.
- Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnostic evaluation and medical documentation purposes.
- Strong background in crisis intervention, crisis management, behavior management strategies, and social work practices.
- Experience providing addiction counseling or grief counseling is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health conditions and experience working with electronic medical records systems.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
