Who We Are

At Rise Above Therapy, we provide compassionate, client-centered and trauma-informed counseling for individuals, couples, youth, and families. We specialize in helping people overcome trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, and life transitions using evidence-based practices — but we do it with a therapist-first approach.

Rise Above Therapy is expanding into a newly built 10-office location in Albuquerque (87110), and we are actively hiring 2 in-person clinicians.

Positions We’re Hiring

• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT)
• Non-Independently Licensed Therapists (LMHC, LMSW)
• Board approved supervisors

Requirements

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy
• Licensed in NM
• Experience with individual, couples, family, or youth therapy
• Trauma-informed background (EMDR/RTM/IFS a plus)
• Strong ethics, integrity, and a heart for this work
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client assessments and develop custom treatment plans
• Provide therapy sessions tailored to client needs (individual, couples, youth, etc.)
• Accurately document notes and maintain HIPAA compliance
• Use evidence-based interventions to support client growth
• Stay curious — we encourage ongoing learning and innovation

Compensation

• $35–$55 per hour, depending on licensure and experience
