Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Interventionist to join our team. This role is vital in providing direct support to clients, with a unique focus on ensuring consistent access to care. A primary responsibility of this position includes transporting clients to and from community-based services and therapy appointments.
Schedule & Availability
- Status: Part-Time
- Days: Mondays and Fridays (Required)
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Support: Implement behavioral interventions and monitor client progress.
- Family Collaboration: Provide ongoing support and guidance to families to ensure consistency in care.
- Safe Transportation: Utilize your personal vehicle to safely drive clients to scheduled service appointments, community outings, or therapy sessions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sessions and transit-related data.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
- Logistics: Highly organized with a reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.

- Behavioral Management: Ability to remain patient and effectively manage challenging behaviors, particularly during transit.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for reporting and family coordination.
- Adaptability: Ability to stay calm and focused in a community-based environment.
