Solid Foundations Therapy is a group practice specializing in evidence-based adult individual and couples therapy. Our clinicians support clients through communication breakdowns, intimacy struggles, conflict cycles, divorce recovery, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and major life transitions.
This position is ideal for a therapist who wants:
- A consistent caseload and strong clinical support
- A team environment with high standards + real connection
- Ongoing training and growth in couples work (Gottman / EFT / RLT encouraged)
- Less admin, more client work
Role Snapshot
- W2 position
- Main Population: adult individuals and couples
- Primarily in-person (option for 1 virtual day)
- Full caseload expectation: 30 Available slots ~25 clients seen/week
- Schedule includes 2 evenings + 1 weekend day
- Weekly group supervision and trainings
Compensation
We pay per clinical session seen, with additional pay for admin time ( ex: notes and meetings), Plus performance based bonuses
Session Pay (based on licensure):
- Provisionally licensed (ALMFT / LPC): typically $45–$54/session
- Fully licensed (LMFT / LCPC / LCSW): typically $55–$63/session, based on experience
- Additional earning potential up Including administrative pay and bonuses
Total compensation value: $70,000–$96,000/year, including benefits such as PTO, student loan repayment, and 401 retirement matching.

Ideal Candidates
- Master’s degree in MFT, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Active Illinois license (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW preferred; ALMFT, LPC considered)
- Interest in or experience with couples work (Gottman, EFT, RLT preferred—training supported)
- Comfortable with a schedule that includes 2 evenings + 1 weekend day
