Rainbow Music Therapy Services is a client-centered music therapy agency with an integrative approach. We serve individuals with various disabilities and neurodivergence of all abilities, ages pre-school through adult in the SF Greater Bay Area. We provide individual and group music therapy services for all ages and ability levels.

Position: Independent contractor position. Looking for one part-time position with opportunity to grow into full time. Locations are the Peninsula, South Bay with potential in East and North bay, 1 to 4 days a week. Days and schedule can be flexible. Providing individual and group music therapy sessions in a variety of locations and settings for a diverse range of ages and abilities. Settings include group homes, Schools and private clients seen both in-home and at our studio in Los Altos, CA. Looking for a music therapist to provide consistent weekly clinical sessions, and manage their schedule. Applicant must have reliable transportation and equipment . This position requires travel to multiple sites. Team supervision 1x a month as well as individual supervision TBD.

Requirements: Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy, MT-BC status.

Preferred Qualifications:

· One year or more experience with autism, mild to severe/profound disabilities, and school-age population

· Proficiency on guitar, piano, percussion and voice

· Experience leading groups

· Ability to work from an integrative approach to music therapy.

We are seeking a reliable individual with strengths in communication, creativity and time management skills. Due to the relationship-based nature of our work, we seek a professional who can commit to a minimum of nine months to one year in the position. Ideally, we are looking for someone who wants to be long term. Must have a means to reliable transportation as this position requires travel to multiple sites..
