Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)to join our growing team. At Proof in Progress, RBTs play a vital role in helping children build functional communication, social skills, independence, and confidence through high-quality, compassionate ABA services.
In this role, you’ll receive ongoing training, hands-on mentorship from BCBAs, structured supervision, and opportunities for professional development. We believe in creating a positive, supportive work culture where employees are encouraged to grow and thrive.
What You’ll Do
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy using child-led and evidence-based strategies
- Implement individualized treatment plans created by the supervising BCBA
- Collect accurate and timely session data using company systems
- Support skill development across communication, social, adaptive, and behavioral domains
- Utilize proactive, compassionate interventions to reduce challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care
- Participate in ongoing training, competency checks, and supervision requirements
- Maintain professional and ethical standards aligned with company values and the BACB guidelines
- Foster a positive, encouraging therapy environment centered around dignity, respect, and rapport building

Qualifications
Required:
- Active RBT certification (or willingness to complete credential with company support)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift/pivot/move with clients during play and session routines
- Reliable, consistent attendance and professionalism
Preferred:
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities
- Experience in ABA or similar therapeutic settings
- College coursework in psychology, education, child development, or related fields
