Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)to join our growing team. At Proof in Progress, RBTs play a vital role in helping children build functional communication, social skills, independence, and confidence through high-quality, compassionate ABA services.

In this role, you’ll receive ongoing training, hands-on mentorship from BCBAs, structured supervision, and opportunities for professional development. We believe in creating a positive, supportive work culture where employees are encouraged to grow and thrive.

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy using child-led and evidence-based strategies
• Implement individualized treatment plans created by the supervising BCBA
• Collect accurate and timely session data using company systems
• Support skill development across communication, social, adaptive, and behavioral domains
• Utilize proactive, compassionate interventions to reduce challenging behaviors
• Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care
• Participate in ongoing training, competency checks, and supervision requirements
• Maintain professional and ethical standards aligned with company values and the BACB guidelines
• Foster a positive, encouraging therapy environment centered around dignity, respect, and rapport building

Qualifications

Required:

• Active RBT certification (or willingness to complete credential with company support)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift/pivot/move with clients during play and session routines
• Reliable, consistent attendance and professionalism

Preferred:

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities
• Experience in ABA or similar therapeutic settings
• College coursework in psychology, education, child development, or related fields
