Qualifications and Desired Skills:

  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or closely related field
  • Experience working with elementary-age students (K-6) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of evaluation tools, special education law, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to interpret and explain testing results to staff and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual student evaluations and assessments, focusing on psychoeducational needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop interventions and recommendations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and eligibility determinations
  • Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Support school initiatives that promote positive student mental health and learning environments
