Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions,
- Develop and implement treatment plans and updates as required,
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information,
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to promote positive change in clients,
- Provide crisis management and intervention as needed,
- Appropriately manage electronic health record and record notes as required,
- Prepare discharge summaries and aftercare plans as needed,
- Attend weekly case management staff meetings.
Necessary skills to be an effective part of our team:
- Proficient in group therapy techniques and facilitation,
- Ability to effectively manage crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions,
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to substance use disorders,
- Strong case management skills, including the ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans for client care,
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain strict confidentiality,
- Proficient in motivational interviewing techniques to engage and motivate clients.
