Chef Supervisor - Food Services

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef Supervisor to lead our Food Services Department, combining leadership responsibilities with hands-on culinary work. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily food service operations within the community, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness

- Prepare and cook a variety of meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and community preferences

- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment

- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain proper food handling procedures

- Collaborate with management to develop menus that meet nutritional and aesthetic standards

- Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as needed to ensure customer satisfaction

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a professional chef, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred

- Strong culinary skills across a variety of cuisines and dietary needs

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures

- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

- Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus
