Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral therapy services. The RBT will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform treatment adjustments.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and communication to promote independence.
- Use behavior management techniques to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation, including progress notes and care plans, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in behavioral interventions across settings.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ethical standards related to patient care and confidentiality.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to behavioral health, special education, and medical terminology.
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and data collection methods.
- Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Familiarity with medical documentation, medical records management, and basic medical terminology.
- Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
