Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will work directly with children with autism (ASD) and developmental disabilities, to deliver tailored behavioral interventions. Your energetic approach will help children build essential skills, improve behavior management, and enhance their overall quality of life while collaborating closely with families and our clinical team.

Schedule:

Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 4:15 - 7:45

Duties

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior during therapy sessions to monitor effectiveness and inform adjustments
  • Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and other self-care tasks
  • Use behavioral therapy techniques to teach new skills and promote positive behavior change
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, treatment records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Support families by providing guidance on behavior management strategies and training parents to reinforce skills at home

Requirements

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification prior to start date.
  • Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies in various settings.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral therapy techniques is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, and care plans related to behavioral health or developmental disabilities is advantageous
  • Strong data collection skills to track client progress accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and team members in a compassionate manner
