Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans and support their growth and development. This role requires a commitment to patient care, behavior management, and the ability to work on a collaborative treatment team.

Monday-Friday 8:45AM-5:15PM

Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Shifts (availability based on client scheduling needs):

Monday-Friday 8:45AM-1:15PM

Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:45AM-1:15PM

Tuesday/Thursday- unavailable at this current time for part-time position

**Applicant must be available to onboard FULL TIME 8:45-5:15PM for first 8 days for FT and PT positions. No time off is approved in first 45 days due to training.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Provide direct support to clients in various settings, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist in the development of care plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • implement behavioral strategies and techniques to encourage positive behavior changes.
  • Monitor client progress and report findings to the supervising BCBA for ongoing assessment and adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social skills, communication, and independence.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required within 50 days of hire (paid training and certification!)
  • Able to play with kids on the floor and table area, lift 30 pounds, and run/jump/engage in active play as part of clinical programming
  • Experience working with children with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism.
  • Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and behavioral therapy principles.
  • Ability to create and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical records management.
  • Previous experience in patient care or working with children is preferred but not mandatory.
