Summer Camp Lifegurard/Counselor (Seasonal)

Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Lifeguards/Counselors. As a Summer Camp Lifeguard/Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and create memorable experiences in a fun and safe camp environment.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with campers during various water activities and events
- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all campers
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive and enjoyable camp experience
- Provide guidance and support to campers in resolving conflicts or challenges

Requirements:
- LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATION
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs of campers
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with campers, parents, and staff members
- Ability to maintain a safe environment by enforcing rules and regulations
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Must clear Level 2 Background Check

Preferred Skills:
- Background in early childhood education or related field
- Babysitting or nanny experience
- Experience working with students in sports coaching or extracurricular activities
