Job Description  Join our Team at the Department of Veterans Affairs Community Based Outpatient Clinic, Santa Rosa, CA as a Staff Psychologist- Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP)!  The Psychologist's primary assignment will be at the Santa Rosa Community Based Outpatient Clinic, Mental Health Clinic which serves veterans with mental health problems, emphasizing combat and sexual assault-related posttraumatic stress disorder, substance use disorders, anger management, late life depression, chronic mental illness, psychiatric illness co-occurring with medical illnesses, traumatic brain injury, and mental health problems associated with homelessness. The incumbent will be involved in assessment and treatment of a complete range of these mental health disorders and will supervise psychology trainees. The Staff Psychologist at this level may diagnose mental disorders, conduct psychological or neuropsychological assessments, treat mental disorders through a variety of modalities, and provide adjunctive interventions for treatment of medical disorders. Among the modalities provided are individual, family, and group psychotherapies and other interventions such as behavioral health and community interventions. The incumbent may consult with medical center staff on a wide variety of patient care issues. The Staff Psychologist may be involved in program evaluation, teaching, training, and research activities. The incumbent understands and applies professional psychological treatments to the full range of patient populations; provides professional advice and consultation in areas related to professional psychology and behavioral health; and maintains knowledge of clinical research literature. The incumbent does not administratively supervise staff or write performance appraisals. The incumbent may provide supervision of trainees.  Benefits and Features  Salary: $111,641 - $206,857 per year Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
