Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles in their homes. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through effective behavioral therapy, teaching essential skills, and providing support in daily living activities (ADLs).

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) to promote independence and improve quality of life.
  • Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and interventions as per treatment protocols.
  • Teach social skills, communication strategies, and adaptive behaviors to clients.
  • Provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings, including home and community environments.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to develop effective care plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Engage in behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors effectively.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
  • Experience working with children or individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Familiarity with special education practices and patient care standards.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and care plan development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
