Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments.
- Supervise and mentor behavior technicians and clinical staff to ensure adherence to evidence-based practices in behavioral therapy.
- Conduct intake assessments and ongoing data collection to track progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, medical providers, and families, to coordinate care plans aligned with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Lead training sessions on applied behavior analysis techniques, medical terminology, and behavioral health best practices for staff development.
- Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality protocols such as HIPAA, and document all patient interactions meticulously.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, including diagnostic evaluations and behavioral health reviews, to uphold the highest standards of patient care.
Experience
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with current licensure or certification required.
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong background in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and data collection methodologies.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, and medical records management within a healthcare setting.
- Prior experience supervising clinical staff or behavior technicians is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for maintaining confidentiality in medical documentation.
