A San Francisco-based educational institution is seeking experienced School Psychologists for a contract position from August 11, 2026, through June 2, 2027. This role requires onsite presence, with consideration for travel candidates and a potential 4/1 hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities include providing psychological services to students within a large, well-established school psychology department. The role involves conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, collaborating with educators and families, and supporting student mental health and academic success.

Key qualifications and experience required:

  • Valid licensure as a School Psychologist (educator credential required)
  • Proven experience working within school settings, preferably with diverse student populations
  • Ability to perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and implement effective interventions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multi-disciplinary school teams
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional ethical standards

Location:

  • San Francisco, CA – onsite at the school district facilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Consult with teachers and administrators to support student development and learning
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies
