Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to promote positive behaviors and skill development.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective outcomes.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and toileting, to enhance independence.
- Use behavioral therapy techniques to manage challenging behaviors and teach functional communication skills.
- Collaborate with supervising clinicians and team members to develop and update care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Create a safe, engaging environment that encourages learning and growth for children and individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
Requirements
- Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and teaching techniques for individuals with autism.
- Ability to assist clients with ADLs and implement behavior intervention plans effectively.
- Excellent data collection skills to track progress and inform treatment decisions.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is a plus.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach with a passion for working with children and individuals with special needs.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
