Scientific Advisor (MD, DO, PsyD) — Digital Behavioral Health Platform (Contractor / Remote)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a physician-founded digital behavioral health platform delivering evidence-based CBT programs for adults with ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, and insomnia. The company name is confidential at this stage.

Our programs are built on validated, peer-reviewed protocols. We are forming a Scientific Advisory Board of licensed clinicians and researchers to ensure our platform faithfully implements the evidence base that underpins it.

THE ROLE

As a Scientific Advisor you will serve in an ongoing advisory capacity, providing expert guidance on protocol fidelity, clinical content accuracy, AI coach design, and safety standards within your area of expertise.

You will be assigned 2 of our 8 evidence-based protocol areas based on your background and will have access to a pre-populated tester account to review the platform firsthand.

TIME COMMITMENT

Initial review: approximately 4 hours

Ongoing: 2–3 hours per quarter

PROTOCOL AREAS

Advisors are assigned one of the following pairs based on their expertise:

Pair 1 — ADHD + Sleep Safren CBT-A (adult ADHD) and Morin CBT-I / DSPS (insomnia and delayed sleep phase)

Pair 2 — GAD + Social Anxiety Dugas CBT-IU (generalized anxiety) and Clark & Wells (social anxiety)

Pair 3 — Panic + Unified Protocol Clark catastrophic misinterpretation (panic disorder) and Barlow Unified Protocol (transdiagnostic anxiety)

Pair 4 — Depression Lewinsohn Behavioral Activation and Unified Protocol overview

YOUR ADVISORY SCOPE INCLUDES

- Protocol fidelity and content accuracy

- AI coaching language and appropriate clinical boundaries

- Assessment instrument usage for your specialty

- Crisis detection standards relevant to your protocols

QUALIFICATIONS

- Doctoral degree (MD, DO, PsyD, or equivalent) in a relevant field

- Active clinical licensure or academic appointment

- Research or clinical expertise in at least one protocol pair above

- Research publication record preferred

- Interest in digital health or technology-assisted care delivery

COMPENSATION

$1,000 quarterly honorarium plus equity (vesting schedule to be determined). Specific equity terms discussed with qualified candidates.

Pay: $4,000.00 per year
