A full-time School Social Worker position is available for the 2024-2025 academic year in Sauk Village, IL. This role supports students’ emotional, social, and academic development within a positive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling to students.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education and behavioral plans.
Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and design appropriate interventions.
Address challenges such as bullying, social adjustment, truancy, and family issues impacting students’ education.
Facilitate effective communication between the school, families, and community resources.
Support crisis intervention and conflict resolution efforts within the school.

Qualifications and Experience:

Must hold a valid Illinois School Social Worker license.
Demonstrated experience working in a school setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage caseloads and maintain thorough documentation.
Knowledge of local community resources and support services.
