Job Description:
TITLE: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required)
* Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
* Experience in school-based settings (preferred)
* Strong data analysis, collaboration, and communication skills
REPORTS TO: Assistant Superintendent, Special Services
JOB GOAL: The BCBA provides behavioral assessment, intervention design, and consultation services to support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. This role focuses on building staff capacity, supporting students and generalizing student skills across settings
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
* Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
* Provide direct and consultative support to staff across settings
* Provide direct support to students as needed
* Provide training and consolation around tier one and tier two supports to be implemented within the classroom
* Provide training around trauma informed approach to instruction
* Analyze behavioral data and adjust interventions accordingly
* Train staff in evidence-based behavioral strategies and data collection
* Participate in PPT/IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
* Support crisis prevention and response planning
* Provide parent coaching and facilitate parent groups to generalize support between home and school
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 187 day position
EVALUATION: Performance review of this job will be evaluated by the building principal in conjunction with the Wilton Staff Appraisal Plan.
