Experteer Overview In this role you will lead and coordinate drug abuse treatment programs for Bureau inmates, providing expert clinical oversight and directing staff. You will conduct assessments, formulate treatment plans, and supervise all drug treatment activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will advocate for drug programs with institutional staff and executives, ensuring effective, evidence-based care. Compensation / Benefits • coordinate approved drug abuse programs (non-residential, residential, MAT) • supervise clinical activities and staff in drug treatment • conduct testing, interpretation, and diagnoses related to substance use disorders • act as program resource for psychologists, staff, and leadership • advocate for drug programs with institution leadership • ensure security and alignment of clinical duties with institutional priorities Tasks • doctorate in psychology (clinical or counseling) • current, full license to practice psychology (doctoral level) • minimum one year of specialized experience at GS-12/GS-13 level or equivalent • experience in assessment, treatment planning, and psychotherapy for substance use disorders • ability to supervise treatment staff and develop subordinates • knowledge of substance use treatment and co-occurring disorders Key requirements • retention incentive
