Registered Behavior Technician

Bluebird Behavioral Solutions is an Austin based, BCBA owned and operated practice . We serve children, teens, and adults across home and community settings.

Our team is intentionally small so that therapists receive consistent supervision, mentorship, and support from experienced BCBAs. We value a close knit team environment where staff are known, supported, and appreciated.

We are currently hiring experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis therapy in home and community settings. Sessions often take place in real world environments where skills can be practiced naturally during everyday routines and community activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to clients in home and community settings
• Implement individualized treatment plans and Behavior Intervention Plans designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• Collect and record accurate session data using designated data collection systems
• Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs regarding client progress, questions, and observations
• Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings as needed
• Maintain professional and supportive relationships with clients and their families

Programs address a wide range of developmental goals, including early developmental milestones, functional communication, social development, independence, and meaningful everyday skills that support success at home, school, and in the community.

Staff pursuing BCBA certification receive at least 20 percent of their fieldwork hours supervised in person each week.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Active RBT certification
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to remain active during sessions and safely assist clients as needed
• Clear criminal background check

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
