We have an immediate need for a Water Quality Specialist for our New York City office.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.  LiRo-Hill  is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Edison, NJ.

 



Responsibilities

  • Assess domestic potable water systems in multi-story buildings, investigate disinfection and testing programs and make recommendations for addressing water quality concerns
  • Review and evaluate environmental reports and remediation designs prepared by others
  • Prepare Disinfection and Water Quality Testing Plans
  • Review building plumbing drawings and contractor work plans
  • Oversee construction phase activities related to water supply system renovations and associated flushing/testing requirements, and prepare corresponding completion reports


Qualifications



  • 5+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field
  • Knowledge of water supply system treatment and disinfection processes
  • Experience in public facilities including schools and public housing developments
  • NYS DOH Grade C Water Treatment Operator certification OR Master Water Specialist certification from the Water Quality Association required

- Compensation: Minimum:  $120,000; Maximum $135,000. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment. The range provided is the salary that the Firm, in good faith, believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position.  Exact compensation will be determined based on individual candidate qualifications and location.
