Shipping and Receiving

JOB PURPOSE: The Shipping and Receiving Team Member is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of finished goods to our customers. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Shipping Supervisor in the timely and accurate shipment of finished goods to our customers.
• Route incoming goods to the proper departments.
• Process receipts of incoming materials.
• Load and unload trucks and verify accuracy of the paperwork to the product.
• Report any defects or shortages of incoming materials to the department supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Fill in as needed in the absence of another employee.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of a high school education and three years of factory related experience in shipping and receiving.
• Required to read, write in English, follow verbal and written instructions and have good math skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Must have some degree of computer knowledge for data entry purposes.
• Must be trained and certified to operate a forklift.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Required to lift up to 50lbs.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
