Golden High School (GHS) is nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains minutes from downtown Denver. We have a rich history and tradition dating back to 1873. The successful new hire or rehired candidate will be responsible to complete and incur the fingerprinting and processing fee of $54.50 through an appropriate fingerprinting vendor and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, within 48 hours of offer acceptance.

SUMMARY: Provide services to student(s) based on educational needs and requirements in the capacity of school counselor, school social worker, school psychologist, occupational/physical therapist, speech language pathologist, school nurse. Use purposeful, goal directed activities and task analysis to enable a child to benefit from their educational plan. If required, Federal law mandates that special provider services in the school system be educationally relevant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Act as substitute Special Service Provider.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold a Special Service Provider License from the Colorado Department of Education in supporting area.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to travel between schools/sites served. Normal routine levels of activity related to bending, carrying, climbing, hearing, reaching, sitting, standing, vision and walking, and may also involve above-average levels of activity at times that can not always be anticipated. Ability to lift and carry equipment, such as large test kits, up to 35 pounds.

Ability to meet physical needs of students.
