Are you passionate about performing arts and love working with kids? Join the Camp StarQuest team as a General Counselor and make an impact this summer!

Camp StarQuest: June 8 – July 3, 2026. M-F, 8:30 – 4:30 with the exception of July 1st will be a late night due to our final performance.
Orientation June 3 – 5, 2026

This is a temporary role and pay is commensurate with experience. The Jewish Community Center of Dallas is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).

Responsibilities:

Assist with and implement core and non-core camp activities in various group settings.
Lead large and small group recreational activities as needed.
Support Specialty Theater Staff with hands-on tasks, embodying a collaborative, can-do attitude.
Ensure the safety, well-being, and happiness of assigned campers.
Address and manage camper behavior promptly and appropriately.
Serve as a positive role model, fostering enthusiasm, teamwork, fairness, and fun.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older.
Experience or strong passion for performing arts (theater, dance, voice, etc.).
Previous experience working with children or a genuine desire to engage with kids.
Enthusiastic, dependable, caring, and team-oriented personality.
