Attend, report, and accept patient care assignment for assigned shift.
Maintain a therapeutic environment, correctly identify the patient's growth and development stage, and communicate at the level of understanding and stage of growth and development.
Ensure patient safety and demonstrate the ability to identify potential or actual safety hazards, taking into account the individual patient's stage of growth and development.
Conduct patient groups under the direction of RN staff and document patient participation; participate in treatment team staffing, provide nursing input, and notify appropriate personnel when patient conditions or behaviors change.
Perform routine nursing duties according to level of competency and within licensure guidelines and document findings or patients' responses accurately and in a timely.
Maintain open communication with supervisors, report accidents and injuries according to policy and procedure, and participate willingly in investigations, providing incident reports when appropriate.
Maintain a current and unencumbered motor vehicle license

This position is eligible for an SER rate of:

$12.15 an hour or $972.00 bi-weekly for a Psych Aide 1
$13.00 an hour or $1040.00 bi-weekly for Psych Aide 2
This position is eligible for the following premium pays (Per Hour Physically Worked):

$1.00 an hour for Facility Longevity
$1.50 an hour for Recruitment and Retention
