- Attend, report, and accept patient care assignment for assigned shift.
- Maintain a therapeutic environment, correctly identify the patient's growth and development stage, and communicate at the level of understanding and stage of growth and development.
- Ensure patient safety and demonstrate the ability to identify potential or actual safety hazards, taking into account the individual patient's stage of growth and development.
- Conduct patient groups under the direction of RN staff and document patient participation; participate in treatment team staffing, provide nursing input, and notify appropriate personnel when patient conditions or behaviors change.
- Perform routine nursing duties according to level of competency and within licensure guidelines and document findings or patients' responses accurately and in a timely.
- Maintain open communication with supervisors, report accidents and injuries according to policy and procedure, and participate willingly in investigations, providing incident reports when appropriate.
- Maintain a current and unencumbered motor vehicle license
- This position is eligible for an SER rate of:
- $12.15 an hour or $972.00 bi-weekly for a Psych Aide 1
- $13.00 an hour or $1040.00 bi-weekly for Psych Aide 2
- This position is eligible for the following premium pays (Per Hour Physically Worked):
- $1.00 an hour for Facility Longevity
- $1.50 an hour for Recruitment and Retention
