Experteer Overview In this role you will lead medical operations at a new 144-bed behavioral health hospital, aligning clinical care with regulatory standards. You will drive quality, supervise clinicians, and shape medical policies to support holistic patient care. You’ll provide direct patient care, collaborate across departments, and mentor staff while overseeing budgets and strategic goals. Compensation / Benefits • Provide medical leadership and quality assurance for the facility • Supervise clinical and administrative staff and ensure policy adherence • Define clinical care protocols and support decision-making on patient treatment • Deliver direct patient care and assist other departments in clinical interactions • Serve as liaison between medical staff and leadership across facility and corporate levels • Monitor staff performance and enforce medical policies; provide back-up call coverage • Teach and develop staff through training and mentorship • Obtain patient physicals and histories, order diagnostics, and prescribe treatments • Maintain accurate clinical records per regulations and policies • Oversee financial aspects including budgets, billing, and spending • Develop organizational goals, policies, and procedures for the facility • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and accreditation standards • License and credentialing: maintain medical license and DEA credentials • Current unrestricted medical license; current DEA credentials Tasks • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) • Board certified in Psychiatry • Previous Medical Director experience preferred • Current, unrestricted medical license in the practicing state • Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances Key requirements •
