We are looking for a talented School Social Workers. We are in need of 1 part-time School Social Worker and 1 full-time School Social Worker.

Hourly Rate Range: $48.00-$59.00 per hour

Responsibilities would include:

Provide social-emotional support and counseling to students in individual and group settings.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop intervention plans.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans to support student success.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to address behavioral, emotional, and academic concerns.
Provide crisis intervention and support for students experiencing trauma or significant life challenges.
Connect students and families with community resources and social services.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and IDEA guidelines.
Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and behavioral intervention planning.
Educate and support teachers and staff on mental health awareness and classroom behavior management strategies.

Required Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
Michigan School Social Worker License (SSW) or Temporary Approval (310 letter) issued by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE).
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) preferred.
Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.

Continued insurance coverage over the summer is optional for the employee.
