We are looking for a talented School Social Workers. We are in need of 1 part-time School Social Worker and 1 full-time School Social Worker.

Hourly Rate Range: $48.00-$59.00 per hour

Responsibilities would include:

  • Provide social-emotional support and counseling to students in individual and group settings.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop intervention plans.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans to support student success.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to address behavioral, emotional, and academic concerns.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support for students experiencing trauma or significant life challenges.
  • Connect students and families with community resources and social services.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and IDEA guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and behavioral intervention planning.
  • Educate and support teachers and staff on mental health awareness and classroom behavior management strategies.
Required Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Michigan School Social Worker License (SSW) or Temporary Approval (310 letter) issued by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE).
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) preferred.
  • Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
