We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for children and adults with behavioral health needs. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring they receive the best possible outcomes through applied behavior analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Provide direct patient care to children, focusing on behavior management and skill acquisition.
• Collect and record data on client progress, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Assist in developing and maintaining medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities that promote learning and development.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to reinforce behavioral strategies at home.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients, promoting positive behavior changes.

Experience

• Previous experience in behavioral therapy or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles is highly desirable.
• Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental or behavioral challenges.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices is beneficial.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and data protection.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
