What the role looks like:
- Day schedule (with occasional on-call support)
- Mix of crisis intervention, counseling, and care coordination
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team
- Support clients with both mental health and substance use needs
- Help connect individuals to housing and community resources
What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and safety planning
- Provide individual, group, and brief supportive counseling
- Support clients using trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and motivational interviewing
- Develop care plans that address medical, emotional, and social needs
- Participate in team meetings and case discussions
- Maintain clear and timely documentation
What tends to do well here:
- Experience in substance use, behavioral health, or detox settings
- Comfortable working with underserved or high-need populations
- Strong team mindset and ability to stay steady in fast-paced environments
- Someone who values structure, consistency, and long-term impact
All you need:
- Active LCSW or LMFT (CA)
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with crisis response and behavioral health interventions
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
