Horizon Blue ABA was built around serving Medicaid families across New York City, communities where access to quality ABA has never been guaranteed. We built our model around that reality, with clinical decisions driven by what each child needs and a team that is serious about doing this work well. Most of our BTs and RBTs have worked with families in their homes, learning the job in some of its hardest conditions. Now we're opening our first clinic in the Bronx, and we're looking for a Lead BT who knows what this work actually asks of you and shows up for it anyway.
That means staying regulated when a session isn't going the way you planned, sitting with a child in a hard moment without pulling back, and understanding that the difficult sessions are often where the most important work happens. Our on-site BCBAs are there with you in those moments, not just to supervise but to help you understand what a behavior is communicating and how to respond to it. As Lead BT, you'll also help other BTs on the team develop that same steadiness. Techs not selected for the clinic will be considered for in-home cases if they're interested. If you're someone who leans in when things get hard, we want you on this team.
