Boy Care Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY

The Boy Care Coordinator conducts all administrative duties for the Boy Care Department. This includes coordination of casework and boy care personnel involved in the daily process of resident care. Maintains all resident records and statistical data. Is the liaison with relevant public institutions such as schools, Medicaid, hospitals, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school graduate, some college, bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum three years relevant experience required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks in a timely fashion
• Must be computer literate.
• Team Player

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administrate and coordinate details for staff and resident program. This includes day to day operations, work programs, special activities, and also includes such tasks as ordering supplies, maintaining records, coordinates weekly run and transportation schedule.
• Maintains a working knowledge of every boy on the Ranch.
• Ensure that WTBR meets and exceeds minimum standards set forth by the TDPRS.
• Organizes, maintains, and monitors a Boy Care Staff support system via: staff assignments, appointment reminders/follow-up, cottage reports.
• Plans and implement boy care events and functions.
• Maintains complete, accurate, and timely boy care medical and dental files. Schedules initial and yearly physicals and immunizations as appropriate.
• Ensure that all residents are placed on Medicaid in a timely manner.
• Coordinates staff training schedule and sends regular updates to Life Services Director I.
• Coordinates school communication to ranch personnel and performs follow up as required
• Assists with transportation needs of boys on an as needed basis.
• Assist the Life Services Director and COO with any special reports or requests regarding boy care.
• Attend and assist with all ranch functions
