Experteer Overview In this role you will deliver neuropsychological care across inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings, conducting comprehensive assessments and feedback to patients, families, and care teams. You will work within the Neuropsychology Clinic to support diagnostic and treatment planning, adapting procedures to varied levels of care. You will supervise trainees and contribute to quality assurance and program development. The position places you at the intersection of clinical service, education, and system-wide committees, offering meaningful impact on neurocognitive health for veterans. Compensation / Benefits • Provide specialized neuropsychological assessments across inpatient and outpatient populations • Diagnose and treat patients with neurological, psychiatric, and medical concerns • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of memory, attention, language, executive function, and other cognitive domains • Provide timely feedback to patients, families, and care teams on assessment results • Consult with medical center staff on patient care issues including health-care decision-making capacity • Supervise psychology trainees at various levels and serve as a consultant to other disciplines • Participate in program monitoring and outcome measurement using data-driven quality assurance • Assist in preparing RFPs and grant proposals as assigned • Represent psychology/neuropsychology on committees or task forces at various organizational levels Tasks • Citizenship: US citizen • License: full, current, unrestricted psychology license (doctoral level) or eligible for temporary supervised practice • Education: doctoral degree in psychology from an APA/PCSAS/CPA-accredited program or equivalent re-specialization pathway • Internship: APA/CPA-accredited or equivalent supervised internship; board certification may be required for some pathways • Experience: GS-11 to GS-13 level requirements dependent on grade; licensure and internship alignment • Additional: eligible for VA employment, ability to pass background check and pre-employment processes • Must be proficient in written and spoken English • Subject to pre-employment screenings, including drug testing and health requirements • Ability to obtain or maintain necessary clearances and comply with VA requirements Key requirements • Competitive salary • PTO 37–50 days/year • 13-26 days annual leave • 13 days sick leave • 11 federal holidays • Parental leave up to 12 weeks after 12 months of employment for eligible employees (paid)
