POSITION SUMMARY
Provides a variety of psycho-diagnostic, testing, therapeutic, educational, and supervisory services for children and/or adults in inpatient, outpatient and forensic settings.
POSITION DUTIES
- Conducts psychological evaluations, including evaluations of intellectual, cognitive, and personality functioning using standardized testing procedures and tools, such as Wechsler, MMPI, MCMI, RBANS, etc., and evidence-based practices/best practices.
- Performs individual and group child/adolescent/adult therapy.
- Enhances the Guidance Center’s reputation and community value by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; by exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments and by providing excellent, responsive and welcoming customer service to internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Assures high quality and safe services for members and staff by enforcing and adhering to policies, procedures, standards, rules, The Joint Commission requirements, and legal regulations; by participating in utilization and quality reviews; by utilizing a trauma-informed perspective and by availability for emergency consultations.
- Improves staff competence by providing clinical leadership, supervision, training and discussions regarding evidence-base practices/best practices on wellness and psychological wellbeing and dysfunction.
- Provides direct clinical supervision to staff for licensure, staff development and affiliated training programs.
- Participates in new initiatives such as integrated care, program enhancements, wellness programs, grants, community outreach, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
GENERAL EXPECTATIONS

- Complete all TGC required trainings on time.

- This position is 100% onsite/TGC campus, in the state of Arizona.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Doctoral degree licensed by the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners.
- Active unrestricted license with the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners.
- Completion of 40 CEU’s every two years as per R4-26-2017.
- Ability to complete credentialing and privileging by TGC and all contracted health plans.
- Strong computer and electronic medical record skills.
- Possess critical thinking skills, writing, active listening and learning skills.
- Willingness to continue learning.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- At least 21 years of age or older.
- Valid AZ driver’s license.
Preferred:
- Previous experience with supervision of psychology doctoral interns.
- Experience providing training to supervises.
- 2 years post licensure experience in the field.
- Experience working in an integrated health care system with primary care.
- Ability to conduct forensic evaluations and expert testimony for involuntary commitments, competency, and legal proceedings.
- Court-approved evaluator for criminal and juvenile cases through Arizona Supreme Court Legal Competency and Restoration training.
