Experteer Overview In this role you help individuals with disabilities pursue meaningful employment by providing vocational rehabilitation services and building partnerships with community resources. You will work across campuses and in the community, delivering client-centered guidance and assessments to support career goals. You’ll engage with schools, employers, and agencies to expand opportunities and placement options. This position offers hybrid work, cross-location collaboration, and opportunities for professional growth within a state agency dedicated to independence and inclusion. Compensation / Benefits • Provide vocational rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities • Conduct outreach to the public and community partners • Manage referrals from intake, schools, community organizations, and other sources • Perform intakes, reviews of records, assessments, and career counseling for transition-age youth and adults • Develop partnerships through community outreach to expand service reach • Work in one of three areas: General Counselors, Level Up Counselors, or Workforce Counselors • Educate employers about BRS services and secure placement/training opportunities • Document case information and decisions using an electronic system • Coordinate and deliver presentations to stakeholders • May administer vocational tests as needed Tasks • Master's degree in vocational rehabilitation counseling, psychology, special education or related behavioral or social sciences • Experience with outreach and working with diverse populations (preferred) • Experience with electronic case management systems, Outlook, and video conferencing (preferred) • Ability to travel and maintain a valid driver's license (special requirements) • CRC qualification/certification is required or pursued as per state standards (special requirements) Key requirements • Professional growth and development opportunities • Healthy work/life balance • Hybrid work environment • Public service salary • Location variety across CT • Full-time benefits overview linked
