Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Littleton, CO is seeking a dedicated Counselor for a long-term substitute position from April to May. This role focuses on providing emotional and academic support to students in grades 3-5. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice counseling in the state of Colorado and possess the skills needed to address the developmental and social needs of elementary-aged children.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid counseling licensure in the state of Colorado
• Experience working with children in grades 3-5, preferably in a school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling services to students in grades 3-5, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral issues
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive interventions
• Develop and implement individual and group counseling sessions tailored to student needs
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes student well-being
